Hand in Hand
Hand in Hand works to given women living in poverty the chance to strive for a better life via microcredit and education. Many of the women are small-scale crop producers, and several have had the chance to take on an employee. After two trips to Kenya and many meetings with talented entrepreneurs there, I’m convinced that it works. Chef Paul Svensson interpreted Kenyan recipes in this own way using the produce grown by these women. This project resulted in two books and an exhibition.
